Black Women in U.S. Politics from 1920 to 2020

Please join the African, African American, and Diaspora Studies Department at UNC-Chapel Hill for a conversation about Black women in U.S. Politics from the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920 to the recent election of Kamala Harris as Vice President. Panelists will include Prof. Nadia Brown (Purdue), Prof. Julia Jordan-Zachery (UNC-Charlotte), and Prof. Erika Wilson (UNC-Chapel Hill). This conversation will be co-moderated by Prof. Kia Caldwell (UNC-Chapel Hill) and Prof. Ron Williams (UNC-Chapel Hill)
