#FREE CYNTOIA: A Community Conversation about Violence, Redemption, and Freedom

Please join us for a conversation with author and speaker Cyntoia Brown Long, who will share her harrowing and inspirational story as a survivor of both violence and additional trauma wrought by her experiences with the criminal justice system. This event  will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2-4 pm, in the UNC Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History. Attendance is free and open to all.

Additionally, please note that as a lead-up to the main event, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 6pm, the Stone Center will host a screening of the Netflix documentary Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story (2020).
